Redwood Heights

A home defined by openness and connection

The design steps gently with the site’s natural grade, organized around a double-height stair and foyer that act as the heart of the home. Living, dining, and kitchen spaces connect seamlessly to outdoor terraces, while the children’s bedrooms occupy one wing and the parents’ suite the other, ensuring both connection and privacy.

Double-Height Stair Hall with Indoor Garden

Centrally located, the stair hall is a light-filled vertical space that connects both levels. A planted garden beneath the stair softens the interior, visually linking the entry to the outdoors and reinforcing the connection to the three preserved redwoods.

Primary Suite Balcony

The main bedroom opens to a private balcony oriented to the south, offering filtered views, fresh air, and a quiet retreat away from the shared family spaces.

Functional Family Zoning

The layout separates the children’s bedrooms from the parents’ suite, with shared spaces in between, balancing privacy with a sense of togetherness.

Juan and Carol

"Roque understood what we needed from the first meeting—a home that worked for our family without feeling overdone. The way he handled both design and construction was impressive. He knew when to push back and when to find solutions we hadn't considered"
